Cecilio Ramos Laurente
Atty. Laurente obtained his Bachelor's
Degree in English Studies (cum laude) as well as his Bachelor of
Laws Degree from the University of the Philippines, where he has
proven his expertise in the fields of debate and legal research.
Before joining the Firm, Atty. Laurente served as a researcher with
the UP President's Committee on the Improvement of English Teaching
and as a member of the High School English Faculty at St. James
Academy in Malabon. |

He honed his research and writing skills at the Institute of Human
rights of the UP Law Center where he served as a legal researcher
and staff writer of its monthly publication, The Human Rights
Agenda. In the College of Law, he was a member of the UP
Law Debate Team, which competed in various intervarsity tournaments,
and of several student organizations including the College's official
Chorale, the Charivari.
As a previous associate of the Firm, Atty. Laurente handled civil, criminal and other litigation concerns for the Firm before administrative bodies, the lower courts, and all the way up to the Supreme Court. He was likewise in the Firm's Labor desk and attended to the various concerns of its retained corporate clients.
Atty. Laurente is currently the Managing Partner of the Firm. He
is also a Director and concurrent Corporate Secretary of Neomedica
Health Services, Inc., and the Corporate and Assistant Corporate
Secretary of several other corporations.
